Solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including Royal Festival Hall, London, Museé Rodin, Paris, ICA Gallery, London, Feingarten Gallery, Los Angeles, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, UK

Became first member of the Workshop School at what is now the National Gallery of Zimbabwe; from 1963 his work was exhibited there.

Was in the 70ies one of the most important and influential figures of Vukutu, a sculptural farm near Nyanga.

His work "Hornbill Man" was depicted on a Zimbabwean stamp issued to commemorate Commonwealth Day on 14th of March 1983
